Intro

For my practical design I will be making a 3 page spread in a magazine aimed at young adults. The 3 pages will include a poster advertising that censorship should be up to the individual in regards to TV programmes and movies, and an article about the topic. It will be a bit of a spoof in relation to what the content includes which are: opinions from the target audience, questioning of whether censorship is right, who has the control?, making the most of your freedom and ways of working around censorship. There will be a feature where readers can write in to the editors and give their opinions whether by email or on a blog that you could subscribe to.

Freedom from parental censorship



This is a creative picture I thought would look good in my magazine. I would use a teenager as the model. On the sticker on the mouth I would have the word 'censorship' with a question mark but the model will be peeling it off, to show that they have been given freedom and a voice.

 

This is a common image associated with censorship and it was one of the first things that came to mind when preapring my research. I would like this image printed on the sticker that will be peeling off the mouth.
